Day 3 of Project Pee-a-thon

Day 3 Rundown

Cycle Day: 20
Days Past Ovulation: 5
HPT Result: BFN
Symptoms: Increased appetite, a little headache-y in the late afternoon, some
pinching-type twinges
Emotions: Pretty good; comments here and in my BabyCenter group have been encouraging, so that has helped—As Shannon commented in a previous post, I think this may help “ease into disappointment”
Notes: I spent a hot day at the Napa Valley Aloha Festival and saw a huge Monarch butterfly fly through the performance tent and thought of my babies. While I was laying down, listening to the music, I felt peace and calm wash over me—These moments have been few lately, and I was grateful for it.

A little info about this cycle: This month marks 3 years since we decided (that word makes me laugh sometimes) to have children. It is 6 months since losing Gaelen, 20 months since losing Rainbow, and 30 months since losing Calvin.

This month’s “protocol”: I am temp’ing and charting at Fertility Friend. I took Letrozole (generic Femara) from cycle days 2-6. I used the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. I am receiving acupuncture once a week and have been seeing my chiropractor (where I also receive N.E.T. get an awesome 10-minute chair massage from an extern) every two weeks.
