Day 7 Rundown
Cycle Day: 24
Days Past Ovulation: 9
HPT Result: BFN
Symptoms: Tiredness, cramping, tender breasts, tenderness in my abdomen, slight feeling of fullness when I lay on my stomach, backache, a little headache-y and sensitivity to light in the evening
Emotions: Irritable, mood swings, and on the verge of hopelessness
Notes: My temperature dropped in the morning and combined with the BFN, it just felt like a double punch; Louie’s been doing this long enough that hearing My temperature dropped today flashed sadness all over his face. It’s not over, yet, but I am already starting to feel disappointment and twinges of devastation. It’s a good I had acupuncture today, because it helped me regain my center. My heart felt a little less heavy and my mind less frantic. Maybe testing + temping = not such a great combination.
If you don’t know what this is all about, please check out this post: On Your Mark. Get Set. Pee.
A little info about this cycle: This month marks 3 years since we decided (that word makes me laugh sometimes) to have children. It is 6 months since losing Gaelen, 20 months since losing Rainbow, and 30 months since losing Calvin.
This month’s “protocol”: I am temp’ing and charting at Fertility Friend. I took Letrozole (generic Femara) from cycle days 2-6. I used the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. I am receiving acupuncture once a week and have been seeing my chiropractor (where I also receive N.E.T. get an awesome 10-minute chair massage from an extern) every two weeks.
